Private Military Companies

With the army and police operating on a skeleton resources, Governments put them to protect remaining infrastructure such as Housing projects, communications and utilities. In Britain this initiative was called 'Rebuilding the Nation'.

Food manufacturers such as Tesc-Mart partnered with Private Military Companies like Credence and lobbied the governments to claim the 'Rebuilding The Nation' project's 'Secure Food For All' budget, using it to contract Private Military Companies.

Credence Security Solutions:
The Global Leader in Private Military Corporations.

Centauri Humanity Foundation initially funded Credence Security Solutions to work in Africa, protecting local communities against illegal poachers, loggers and miners. However, over time Credence became a virtually autonomous organisation in order to gain commercial funding, and win contracts in a highly competitive market with other Private Military Companies. They retained a link with Centauri, its parent organisation, to share both intelligence on situations in remote areas and scientific developments.

Impatient with its parent company and under pressure from Russian backers to gain technological advantage, Credence hacked into the Centauri Science Foundations nano-technology facility and managed to steal prototype data on the soft-machine fabric and nanoparticles.
